Post-Construction Cleaning

After the builders, before you move in

Construction dust is not ordinary dust. It is drywall, sawdust and concrete ground to a powder that gets into every track, vent and hinge in the building, and it keeps reappearing for weeks if the first clean is done wrong — vacuumed before it is wiped, or wiped before the vents are cleared. There is also the material the trades leave behind: paint spots, adhesive residue, silicone smears, stickers on new glass and appliances. All of it comes off, but new surfaces scratch easily and a lot of new-build glass and stone gets ruined by whoever cleans it first. We work from the top of the building down, in stages, so the dust only has to be removed once.

Our Process

1

See the Site

We look at the finished trades, the materials and how much dust is genuinely still in the building before quoting.

2

Clear the Dust

Ceilings, vents and high surfaces first, then down. Dust is removed once rather than pushed from one level to the next.

3

Detail the Finishes

Paint, adhesive and silicone come off glass, fixtures and appliances by hand, with nothing that will scratch a new surface.

4

Final Pass

Floors last, then a walk-through with you or the builder. Where a site is still settling, we come back for a second pass.
